About House of Prayer #2
House of Prayer #2 Apostolic Church of God is a loving church comprised of members who are dedicated to God and believe in praising Him to the best of their abilities. We firmly stand on God's commission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and to reach the lost through worship and outreach ministries. We at House of Prayer #2 teach and baptize believers in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, continuing faithfully in the apostles' doctrine, remaining steadfast in prayer and fellowship with God and one another.
House of Prayer #2 Apostolic Church of God was founded on March 6, 1976 in Fischbach, West Germany. Our founder is Elder Henry William Seemore of Chicago, Illinois. Why the name? The name was derived from House of Prayer Apostolic Church of God of Kankakee, Illinois, which is House of Prayer #1. It was there that Elder Seemore heard the gospel and received his salvation under the shepherding of Pastor Ella Mae Davis. Full Story
